So i've had my system and the same specs for about 5 months now. Never had a single problem.
About 1 month ago, while playing games(fortnite/counterstrike/sea of thieves... etc.) My screen will just go black or blue or a random solid color and I am forced to restart.
When the screen does turn into a solid color, if i turn the monitor on and off it changes colors ie. (from blue to pink etc..)
My temperatures are fine, I keep a close eye on them ( for my graphics card and cpu )
Once again, When the screen does that Everything becomes un responsive, and i am forced to restart my pc.

here are my specs let me know If i need to add anything. Thank yall.

MOBO- Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming WIFI-CF
CPU - Intel Core i3 @ 3.60GHz Kaby Lake 14nm Technology
GRAPHICS CARD - 4096MB ATI Radeon RX 460 Graphics (XFX Pine Group)
RAM - 8GB pacific sun 2400mhz ram
MONITOR- S2318HN/NX (1920x1080@59Hz)
POWER SUPPPLY - GS600 corsair
& i attached pictures of my temps and what not.
Thank you. Please let me know if yall need more information.

Sounds like the GPU/driver errored resulting in a hard system lock.

Honestly, the easiest way to debug this IMO is to try the GPU in another system and if it still occurs, it might be a bad card. How often does it happen? And which driver are you running?

Also could be the monitor, does the system not respond at all when it happens? I.E the game audio stops/loops, etc?

Its been happening probably once every 1hr-1.5hrs.
and it says my drivers are up to date.

the keyboard does not work when it happens (the lights on the keyboard stay on but not responsive.)
And the audio cuts out. it does not loop.
and i am forced to press the restart button

I honestly have no clue, I have 8gb in there.

I find it odd that there's 1GB of Hardware reserved memory. But that's digressing.

I would say do a clean Driver Uninstall using DDU and install the non Beta drivers 18.2.1 IIRC. See if it still happens, that way we can at least rule out a bad driver installation, too.

EDIT: When was did you update to the latest driver?

Speccy is broken, in that Piriform has not kept up with updating the utility. GPU memory and System memory amounts not reported correctly.
Voltages are off as well, ie 12v, 5v, 3.3v.
It's good for other info.

They can use HWiNFO here: https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php

EDIT: With regards to picture, it could be bad cable, bad power in monitor (weak, failing caps internal), bad software, etc...

What cable is being used?

ok, I'll get that done and run msi kombuster for a few & get back to you.

Have you used Crystal Disk Info to check the health of all those hard drives?
https://crystalmark.info/en/download/

A failing one may be causing corruption.

EDIT: Dell, http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/drivers/driversdetails?driverId=NMRG3

Bad, loose, HDMI cable.

EDIT2: I had to do a W10 reset on 2 computers, a (laptop BSOD error 0xc000021a) and desktop wifi adapter drop issue tp-link, due to March 2018 update problems.

I just ran crystaldiskinfo and this is what i got

I used DDU, and i uninstalled the old nvidia drivers i had ( gt740 ) and cleared its cache or something i dont remember exactly, but i ran it. And i am now running 18.2.1

Just disconnect that drive, power and sata cable, until the original problem is fixed.

ok, & my hdmi is brand new. i just got it about 2 weeks ago.

So the issue was solved with a clean GPU driver install?

Glad it's working now :)

As jsfitz54 said, it's generally a good idea to do a clean install when changing GPUs, I even do it if i'm switching cards of the same brand.

If it's surviving Furmark, it's likely not a hardware problem, which is good. But some faults can pass undetected even under stress. (I had an R9 270 which would occasionally produce errors and artefacts periodically every few hours and even Furmark wouldn't cause it to speed up). So let us know if you encounter the issue again, then we can at least rule out drivers :)
