Plex gives Blocker artifacts

Hi guys,

So me and my Friend build a Intel 775 Rig. for say $250 and it shows Blocker artifacts from time-to-time while watching a movie. On my main rig it doesn't show it. Plex is CPU based so why with Q6600 does it have this? My 775 has 4GB RAM which shouldn't matter All too much. I have a nVidia 710 2GB which Also shouldn't matter so what gives? I also Tested my WiFi USB from my main rig with same results

Note: All Movies are 720P

Try and Oc your Q6600, ans see if that makes it go away.

Whats your encode speed? What resolution and bitrate are you trying to watch?
The Q6600 ain't the sharpest tool in the shed anymore, its definitely struggling.

Sounds like CPU struggles with the decoding. Make sure hardware acceleration is used.

I didn't even think any 775 processor even supported Intel Quick Sync. I thought that started with SandyBridge.

Yes with EMBY Server it play's fine. More testing to the done later

The sync mode works fine. Most modes for EMBY are Experimental for now anyways

The issue at first only happened from time to time but that one moment if it does happen will kill it for most of my family

Appears when I'm Not using the Sync Mode it appears again but when I use it, it doesn't happen. Strange yes but it's working so but it doesn't happen on my main rig. Can someone explain why?

LoL it was the weak/Poor Display Driver on the Geforce 610 where now I'm using the AMD 4650 with no issues
