im trying to install my h80 but the cooler came with 3 pin fans, but the pump only has 4 pin fan connectors... wtf? can i plug the 3 pin into the 4 pin slots? why did it come like this?

The 4-pin headers still have a tab. Line it up with the groove in the 3-pin and plug them in. Why, because they can;)

Not sure, maybe they aren't all the way seated. Don't jam em in there, but there may be a bit of pressure required to fully seat the connections. If they are seated all the way, you may want to very gently attempt to bend the tabs down a bit. Careful they are thin and can break easily!

You gotta plug the molex connector IIRC, and it takes a fair amount of pressure to fit the fan connector to the 4 pin connector, it's a tight fit

I installed the one in my rig a few weeks ago and I remember that there's the fan connector to mobo and a molex connector... maybe the molex is if you don't plug the mobo thing? either way I plugged both lmao

To keep it compatible with other fans. Good luck with your cooler. They work well :toast:
