Doghouse Electronics has unveiled the first-of-a-kind RoverTV, the first hard-drive-free, pocket size media recorder and player that records directly from TV without a computer. It is available in 3.5 inch "Big Screen" with resolutions of 320 x 240 for USD299 and the 4 inch with resolutions of 480 x 272 "wide screen" for USD249, it offers player that fills the surface of the device with screen rather than controls. It features a USB port, audio/video connection and FM radio receiver. It uses SD Cards for memory and this is a good choice considering the prices of SD Cards.
