Well you do not have to do that as that will void the warranty too.

If anything goes wrong, I don't think reflashing to stock BIOS will cause any problems. But of course you can use software methods

Couple of points to note:

Furmark didn't kill my card, it was artifacting prior to running it

Temps weren't the issue - I tried with 100% fan speed and two high speed 120mm fans pointed at it - same results

RMAed, new card ordered :cool:

Edit: Just checked the temps after five minutes of Furmark - 87 degrees C. Is this in the correct range for this card?

Any chance my PSU could be causing this? 12V rail is 12.15v idle, 12.18v whilst Furmark is running. (DMM) This doesn't seem to high, just checking

I was also concerned about the temps. I edited my XML to run the fan manually at 50%. At full load my temps are now at 55deg C.

now i have changed the filename i get 5490 so the 8.8 drivers have improved my score
