Possible New Headset

Whats a good headset that is really comfortable to wear 8 hours a day. I got http://www.theheadsetbuddy.com/PC-C...ne-Adapter-Dual-35mm-to-25mm-01-PC35-PH25.htm and I am hoping it works with a Linksys IP Phone SPA941.

So any ideas on a good quality headset with good sound and voice?

The HS800 (the one I am currently using) is worth $25 imo. When I first used it, it was so tight that it literally felt like someone is trying to squish my brain out of my head, couldn't wear it for more than 15 minutes before feeling sore. Got used to it after weeks. Sound quality wise, its not too bad, but not stellar.

I use (and like) a Gamecom 777 but that's for gaming—not, I think, what you're looking for since you mentioned an IP phone.

That should still work. I ordered an adapter to convert a headset like that to work with a handset/ip phone. I'll find out weather the adapter works in a few days.

The sound is rather good—it surprises me every time I put them on, since I'm accustomed to studio headphones. Maybe more importantly, people in Ventrilo tell me I sound very clear through the 777's mic. The headset is quite bulky but comfortable. For what it's worth, it also comes with a USB sound card that you can—but don't have to—use for virtual surround sound (another thing that works surprisingly well).

Ignore cheaper Logitechs. I've gone through 2 pairs since september. The speakers broke loose in one and the volume is heavily lopsided on another. Tiger is sending me a new pair for free, but I'm not too thrilled. lmao

Eh, logitech is awesome on mice and keyboards, their remotes, and other peripherals like that. For headsets, I like creative, plantronics, etc.

Sennheiser HD series and a Logitech desktop USB MIC. I'm not a fan of headsets, if the MIC dies (which always happens) then you have to buy a new headset. I stick to headphones and desktop MIC.

This is what I wanted to do a while back but there's something to say for the convenience of a headset with a securely attached mic.

I really like the Sennheiser PC 350 it's a little pricey but it is imo the best headset available with a built in mic. They're comfortable enough to wear all day but can be a little warm depending on environment temp.

I would go with a pair of Bose, something like that. If they make headsets, I'm not sure.

I know my father owns the $300 noise canceling ones, and they are the best things I've worn over my ears. They fit well for over 8 hours on rock band, too.

EDIT: I didn't notice the price when I posted this... :/

So i bought the plantronics 777. I like them, but there is a lot of pressure on my ears and im not sure how I like that. Im sure most of them are going to be like this, compared to what I had, its 100% better. But im seriously considering trying a different set. I would like to find them in a store so i can buy them and try them out.

So im going to go get The creative and try them out. Maybe i'll go get them saturday. I don't know yet.
