Hi I am hoping to upgrade to these,

Should all be fine, a Socket 1151 cooler fits Socket 1200, just be aware that you're cooler may struggle with a 10900k, from the reviews I have read high end cooling is required to even sustain all core turbo boosts at their max let alone any overclocking you may want to do.

Check this out, look at the max turbo temp, you can also see how warm it gets with a small (ish) overclock with a Noctua NH-U12.

You will see on the conclusion page that W1z found a lot of thermal throttling, not sure how your cooler compares with the noctua but I would want something even better than that I think.

From what I can see, the power delivery is the same on your 2 boards mentioned so far so unless one has more of the features that you need over the other then prob go for the cheaper of the 2. I have a preference for MSI but only based on my personal experience with them, if you like and trust Gigabyte then that's good, as you get to the higher end a lot of these boards have similar power delivery in any case.

Do note you may need to buy new RAM too if planning to use the Corsair 32GB (4x8) DDR4 Vengeance LPX 3000MHz Memory listed in your system specs. According to the specs in your SCAN motherboard link, that board supports

DDR4 - 2133
DDR4 - 2400
DDR4 - 2666
DDR4 - 2933
DDR4 - 3200

I don't see 3000MHz there. However DDR4 3000 (O.C) is listed on the Gigabyte site. Verify with the board's QVL (qualified venders list/Memory Support List) your RAM is listed, or RAM with the same specs is listed to ensure compatibility. That CPU is listed in CPU QVL so no problems there.

Also, in terms of software licensing, a new motherboard constitutes a new computer. If your current Windows license is an OEM license, or is an upgrade based on an OEM license, you will need to purchase a new Windows license too as OEM licenses are not "legally" transferable to new computers under any circumstances. But if your current license is a full "Retail" license, or upgraded based on a full "Retail", then you can transfer that license to the new computer as long as you uninstall it from all other computers.

I note the Phantom 410 is a nice case with generous cooling options, but only comes with 2 x 120mm fans (front and rear) and 1 x 140mm blowhole (top) fan. Considering the heat related issues Tatty_One pointed out with that CPU, if you have not already, you might consider replacing the 120mm fans with 140mm where possible and/or adding more fans to increase the desired front-to-back flow of cool air through the case.

If those were my choices, I would go for the D15 simply because it is newer. The D14 is no longer in production and, as seen here, has been replaced by the D15.

HOWEVER - you need to make sure your case will support such a tall cooler. You might also download the installation manual now to make sure you understand, are familiar and are comfortable applying the TIM and mounting the cooler before it arrives.

It's complicated. Your cooler is fine, but the CPU itself is designed to boost higher with better cooling. It's up to you to decide how much legroom you want/need to give it.
