power problem

i have a biostar p4m900 motherboard and my processor is pentium d 2.8ghz. My problem is when i start the cpu it on for less than 1 sec and then off by it self.if i remov the 4pin processor power then it on without screen.and if i plug 4pin processor power and it on for 1sec. my psu is ok.now i need help to solve my prob.thanks.

The motherboard is gone. The CPU VRM zone is short circuited. Some MOSFETs are faulty.
You can repair the motherboard cheap in some local repair shop. Where do you live?
