thing is don't they think maybe the bios got corrupted some how and they just cant send you a bios file ? to me that alone is a wad of crap like they said the card is out of warrantee so what is there for them to loose helping out with that anyway ??

they now DO NOT OFFER any legacy drive support anymore I guess this is there proprietary statement now

13.12 was the last good solid and stable for these 7850's and the one I use with my 7850 power color card still today

maybe best cut that loss and get a NVidia card cause if its not there latest hardware AMD chunked you in there trash can

there not older good drivers there the newer drivers thast has isues in them like blackscreening and all you nevwer seen like under 13.12 seems like after 14.xx if you did not have a later card not so good [opinion ]

and sont forget all the dropped support for games ands whatever . AMD got pretty useless around here . they now seem [like the rest are now doing as well ] to only support what they want to not your need .

like said 13.12 was the last solid driver under a 7000 series [its not like I spent money for no reason and jumped to intel / NVidia just for the fun of it ]...lol....

His problem stemmed from putting the incorrect bios that has different ram on the card from his, it damaged it. 7000 series are supported as of this month still. His card is physically damaged.

no pleny of guys see the same thing like how games no longer supported for one [ max payne is one will not run on a driver newer then like 12. 9 for a example ] with NVidia everything wrks still old and new . amd can no longer do or say that and why I ditched them .. thing is your not doing much to see it , not me

AMD sure gives a short end of there stick on that older / legacy/ previous driver - use to list them all not just the ones they feel like as I see it now [sad]

GOOD ENOUGH PROOF that your wrong they Still have full range of Legacy Drivers (pic taken 2 min ago)
Oh and you cannot expect Game Support for Ancient Games to be maintained on newer cards
( that is on Game developers not AMD or Nvidia)

Well stop belittling people for making the choice they make when it comes to GPU.

Anyways the thread has gone on long enough, the card was damaged by incorrect bios used due to it using different memory.

Put a fork in it It is done /thread
