Yes send an inquiry to them, your card matches their criteria for flashing, however confimation of a file is a must.

I ran across something from AMD about new/recent vBIOS updates not fully implementing on some cards, some cards will get the 14Gbps bit rate others will not, its a silicon crap shoot.

Why not just OC it manually? Or does a new vbios increase voltages which gives more stability?

I actually can OC to 1850mem 1750core (max available in the radeon software) stable as a rock but it if I try to push it higher via afterburner the clocks just stay at these, if I set 1900 core and run a stress the card won't runhigher than 1750mhz. Afterburner just jumps back or doesn't apply it.

It's an artificial limit so it wouldn't cannibalize RX 5700 :)

:kookoo:Maybe that's why they removed the bios as it would allow it to go higher? I suppose it's still early days and my card holds alot of potential in the future for bios updates and oc etc.

Still haven't received a reply from powercolor, just want to know why I on they site did they have it on and then remove it.

No, all 5600 XT:s have a similar limit. :/

I'm pretty sure that someone finds a workaround, as I and probably many others remember how ATITool could bypass the overclocking lock of Radeon 9000 series back in the day.

The XT sinks were a nightmare it used to overheat all the time. If I remember correctly it used to warm my bedroom haha. Got a soyo dragon plus to go with it man I feel so old.

"More than that, RX 5600 XT Red Devil and Red Dragon equip 6GB GDDR6 at 14Gbps memory for the most demanding gamers! "

Whys mine only running at 12Gb then..? False advertising i read this before i bought my card and was actually the reason i bought a powercolor one because it says on there website you get 14Gbs.

Its not whining im just making a point? It doesn't say "oh by the way before you spend £300 if you buy a earlier model you will only get 12Gbps"

I personally am waiting since as I have learned when trying to make an order directly from China, the Chinese New year most factories are closed. Especially these gpu makers

Nexus explained that memory is usually binned with core from AMD and sent to manufacturers (that I'm not entirely sure of), and that this vbios change really messed things up for the manufacturers and new supplies from AMD won't happen till after the Chinese New year celebrations are over and people are back to work.

So right now it's a gamble if the 14Gbps will work or not with current.

But one guy in comments section said why not bin the cards that can't, as 5600 non xt?

A real kick in the face though to those who already purchased. But this is why I never buy just released stuff. I let others be the test subjects.

Because RX5600 exists and has 32CU instead of RX5600 XT's 36CU?

RX 5600 is OEM only just like RX 5500, currently.

Well these GPU use GDDR6 not HBM. When did AIB bought GDDR from GPU Maker than from Memory Maker?

I'm not sure. I am just going by what Nexus said. Maybe I heard them wrong.
