Hello,

I flashed the wrong BIOS on my card accidentally without a backup :/

Could some one dump the original BIOS to me?

My card version is this: PowerColor Red Dragon Radeon™ RX 550 2GB GDDR5 OC V2 (AXRX 550 2GBD5-DHV2/OC) - https://www.powercolor.com/product?id=1498033015

I tryed to flash all the BIOS on the techpowerup site, but they are only for AXRX 550 2GBD5-DHA/OC version, not for AXRX 550 2GBD5-DHV2/OC.

Thank you.

With this BIOS https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/193148/193148 I can get display image, but the AMD (or powercolor) Driver dont detect the card and CPUZ shows 0Mhz on clock.

I have a USB EPROM writer to flash the BIOS.

Thank you

Try removing your gpu driver by grabbing Display driver Uninstaller. And Re-installing the gpu driver.

Can you please take a picture of all white stickers on the back of the card and post them here?

If you have the original Box please take a picture of the white barcode/label too and upload here.

Can you please take a screenshot of GPU-Z main tab and Memory Tab and upload them here too?

It might be a good idea to take the gpu heatsink off and take a picture of one of the ram chips with the Text on it clear so we can determine what ram was used.

Of course clean the gpu die and heatsink off, then replace the thermal compound on the gpu die with fresh compound and remount heatsink.

I already have tried uninstalling e reinstalling the driver.

Hmm, sorry for such a late reply.

With the wrong bios, you will definitely need to take the heatsink off the card since GPU-Z cannot physically verify what is on the card

There's only 1 BIOS in the database for a PowerColor RX 550 with the correct clocks for his card. It's unverified and says it's for a "Powercolor RX 550 Mining"(which doesn't exist so far as I can tell, and most certainly wouldn't be a 2GB card if it did). If it doesn't work he's going to need to contact PowerColor and try to get one that does. I presume he's already tried it and found out it doesn't(along with the other 2 for the 2GBD5-DHA/OC). But here it is anyway.

It "should" work. It makes no sense at all to me that it wouldn't. As it's quite obviously NOT for the 2GBD5-DHA/OC(different memory support and clocks). And the only other 2GB version of the card is the one he has.

There is. But there aren't any verified PowerColor RX 550 BIOSes. Just the 3 unverified ones. However, I just remembered that Dataland is basically the same brand. And there's one unverified Dataland RX 550 2GB BIOS too. Which is slightly different than the PowerColor ones. In that it only supports Elpida memory, with slightly looser timings. Although the clocks are correct for his card. So he'd be wise to try it too. Assuming his card has Elpida memory that is. Which I don't presume it does going by the screenshots. Since GPU-Z is identifying the memory as Hynix, with a BIOS that supports Hynix and Elpida. But who knows?

Anyhow. Here's that one.

Yeah I understand what you're saying that's the reason why I have people take the cards apart and start looking at the contents of the BIOS files themselves on the database if it doesn't have the right memory specified I move on to the next one
