Powered USB cables issues?

Hi guys,
First time issue! I bought a 5 m powered USB 2 cable for my printers as of late I was getting random "no printer available", that had me unpluggin' them until being recognized again, and I was using 2x 2,5 m old USB extender cables, I thought an upgrade would be a good idea.

The new cable is well made (Ugreen, Amazon) and has a thick connector at the female end, inside is the "signal booster".

At that end I have the same old non powered portable Targus usb-splitter for 3 printers/scanners.

The problem I have since installing the new cable is that every 2 minutes the whole USB subsystem freezes, every device turns off and then on again, including mouse and keyboard connected to my monitor hub.

Anyone dares to point at a possible cause and/ or solution? Thanks ahead.

That is same concept as what I have. I have been testing various cables and must say it looks more like motherboard related. Me not until now, but some people report USB issues with this Asus mobo.

I am mad from trying, lol! So far it happens on any part: usb 3, usb 2, usb 3.1... but it is not constent.... I came here in first place to ask if maybe the whole idea of a powered cable is wrong as I never used one before. Then, the Rampage has for long had some never solved issues in this area, according to some users.
Then, untill I changed to this cable it more or less worked (apart from a weekly "printer not found")...

I moved some cables to other ports and problem is gone. When I did this for 1st time, it didn't do anything! haha!

Must be "Windows AI" working at night :)
