For Sale is a set of mint condition powerline adapters by Trendnet (TPL-401E). They are rated at 500Mbps and are one of the latest generations meeting Homeplug AV and IEEE 1901 specs.

In my single family house they worked very well on the main panel and on the sub panel. Typical data rate without much electrical noise resulted in on average 100Mbps speeds over 60 feet.

I no longer require these adapters because I have wired the entire house with Cat 6.

Asking $80 Shipped for all 3 to lower 48 States !!!!

They send network traffic over the power lines in your home. So you can put a network jack in an area of your home that doesn't have one without running cat5/6 through the walls. Just plug one of these in one room, and the other in another room in your home, and you then have network jacks in each of the rooms.

So the pc connects to it wired but the adapter connects to the router wireless?

If that's right. Man I could use one of these in my other bedroom instead of running a freakishly long cord over there. If someone sangs two I could score the last one. Depending on price of course.

No, you plug one cable into the unit close to the router. Then you take the other unit to where ever you want internet or network support and plug another cable from that to the item you need internet or network. It pretty much shows up as being plugged right into the router or switch.

Thats what I meant. Each of those units connect to the router wirelessly as the pc is plugged into the adapter. Your basically daisy chaining through the adapter to the router right?

You would need two if you do not have any to start with. One to input and one to output.

Thats still awesome none the less. I like the concept of them. Only if I had the $$. These would be perfect for me Sucks you can only plug in one per adapter.

You can plug a switch into the adapter and plug in multiple computers per adapter.
