Bought Prey off Amazon for 1.26 free ship.

I already downloaded it through a shady source but i'm not a pirate so i have bought it... can't be bought through Steam

Just want to see what it was all about as i'm liking the look of the second, which seems to be a reimagining and different game completely.

i have some of my games in cracked mode, mostly due to No-CD ... for most of my oldies ...

just like i downloaded all my PSone, PS2 and PSP library to have them on my PC and phone to play them with emulator but i still do own all boxes and support ...

nothing wrong with that

I have retail version of Prey on 3 CDs

I remember when they released patch 1.4 which removed securom completely. Runs perfectly on Windows 10 x64.

Anywho, shame it wasn't released by 3D Realms. George Broussard did a great job with Duke Nukem and Prey which had some Duke elements and even some references. But even on dated id engine game looked cool.

Been playing.. can only run it in 900P as the preyconfig.cfg don't exist.. might be because of it's download source....

Anywho i enabled 4x SSAA and it works a treat.

LOL, finally saw the latest demo trailer everyone was talking about. Looks like they're still going the direction Arkane took it, but apparently with Human Head back at the helm. Interested in seeing how this one turns out. I can see why some liken it to Bioshock. I think it also shows some resemblance to Dishonored. Glad to see they kept the darker theme. I hope they still incorporate some gravity puzzles though.

The i enjoyed Prey much more than i did doom 3, i get this feeling the current Doom is not all that, don't even think it looks all that good tbh.

Each to there own i guess and it's kinda been a pissing match with Doom and Quake and only true good ones were the first ones.

I got that feeling from the trailers. I thought it would be too brightly lit and arcade for my liking. I was pleasantly surprised though. It's a pretty good game, and I love how they do the upgrades and challenges. Graphics and performance are also very good. Only thing that bothers me about it is I get a freeze crash every now and then.

It is Prey. Arkane Studios had bought the name, after the years of up and down wrangling by other developers to get Prey 2 made.

Finally Arkane decided "we own the name rights, let's just use it." Thus, Prey was born in its current incantation, with no relation to anything Prey that came before.

The game and story is of their own design.
