    Hi everyone,

    I recently received a couple of offers for my rig (as posted here...http://www.techpowerup.com/gallery/1832.html and because this PC has been an ongoing upgrade process for about a year now, I do not really know what price to set for it....

    so I hope you guys can help me out....What price do you think is appropriate for this rig?

    btw, no monitor or periferals going with it!

    check specs under avatar!

    Thanks, a lot!

    With all the work you put into it I would charge 2K. Obviously someone who can do that work themselves would never pay that much, but 99% of people couldn't build a system like that.

    I would charge about 800-1000. the custom water cooling though is hard to put a price on.

    I would hold on to it. Your specs are very respectable. Plus, I doubt you would ever get out of it whats it worth to you. I say that because your on DDR2 800 (thats pretty much EOL) you have the same processor as me E8400 ( almost EOL) , 3xxx series video cards (EOL) . Maximus formula board (same as me) . They have the maximus formula II out. I would keep it and just ride the upgrade process out. Its by no means a bad system at all, but your not going to get what you want im sure.

    @1700 euros
    Thats quite alot TZ. You could potentially make quite a bit of cash out of the deal. The thing you have to think about, can you put a price on the work you have done?

    I know man! and at the same time I sold another system for 600 euro so I can build a kick a** rig for that kind of money!

    Te only drawback at the moment, though, is that with my wife working mornings and afternoons and my working till late mid-day, I have to baby sit my baby son for hours and hours in the afternoons and some nights... so I 'll have the money, but not the time to build a new rig! What a mess!:banghead:
