No, you don't. In fact I would warn against running Prime95 for a long time as it is a CPU killer like FurMark is a GPU killer. Run AIDA64 Extreme and benchmark it from there. Excellent program for testing CPU stability and much safer.

if you overclock isnt stable during normal usage you will soon find out.. :) i do think you need to run some kind of CPU stress test just to see how hot things are getting.. not much point in over clocking anything if it gets too hot and throttles down..
