The bases of your opinion is based on what you claimed someone else said. Using that to persuade or deflect the OP's opinion is what peer pressure is all about. It would be more tangible if he received feed back from those who actually play the game without bias. Not what you say you read/heard from someone else.

Well actually, the basis of my opinion is based on playing the two games. Also, its not a claim of what someone said, its the views of a few hundred on a PES site no less. Its not hearsay at all, its their views, printed out on a forum for all to see. I would direct you there but as you don't listen it's not worth my time.

I play the game without bias, as said previously(now pay attention this time) I have favoured the previous PES incarnations for years, I just feel the series has become very sloppy and has not evolved to the degree FIFA has. Again, I shall repeat, with no bias inferred, FIFA plays the more realistic game of football in my opinion. Now, whether you choose to agree or disagree with me is your perrogative but you will not sway me.

Now run along and enjoy your little soccer game(that is what you Yanks think its called right?) and I will play the supreme simulation of football, that is FIFA on 360.

Can't get anymore real or TANGIBLE than that.

So, now you are back tracking on what you posted earlier:

East mate, I appreciate your views but thats just not the case , the fact that the official FIFA 09 thread is one of the most popular threads on the site speaks volumes. Having been a member on that site since 2003, I have spoken to alot of the original PES players. Its a shame, but alot of them agree, PES just doesn't cut it when compared alongside FIFA 09 on 360/PS3 this year.

As for taking advantage of the modding for FIFA 09 on PC, you can dress it up all you like, its the PS2 version with shaded graphics and a Wii like control scheme if you utilize the mouse. Great for kiddies, not for players who prefer depth and substance to their games.
This is what you posted. However, those who do not have a console were forced to go with FIFA09 on the PC until PES 2009 was released. Their modding community does provide a tangible reason to buy it if they prefer that version of game play. In any case it's obvious your going to change your post to suit your opinion. Furthermore, you clearly indicate you were talking about FIFA forum not the PESFan forums. Regardless, PES 2009 is popular game and there are plenty who prefer it over FIFA09. I've created threads about both and have played both games on the PC and console therefore, I can also formulate an opinion. In a nutshell PES2009 is more enjoyable.

At this point all you can do is disagree with me and the OP who like PES2009. Further objections from you clearly show this is not a thread for you as you are unwilling to accept our opinions of the game. Yet, you want us to accept yours, that's not going to happen.

That's the whole point, others believe that PES is a great game. You haven't respected anyone's opinion, if you did this kind of crap wouldn't be posted in a pro pes thread.
You are obviously upset that others found PES 2009 fun to play. Because you are upset is why you posted. :p

i never said pes was the best i just want to make it clear that altought pes has its flaws it still is the better game

fifa has all the features but pes has the gameplay

with the sound mods for the crowds, the kit mods pes really starts to feel like a more complete game

FIFA has its flaws tho and it feels less fun which to me is what would draw me to play a game like that over and over again

ive already bought pes at asda its in the bargain deals thread/sub forum

The PC version of FIFA is a shocking game, Xbox 360/PS3 version is where its at.

What is transpiring with regards to FIFA tho is that it amazes many to begin with but it isnt#t too long before the gameplay becomes very 'sameish'.

PES 2009 is a grower. it gets better n better n better and this years title is the most solid since PES3 (offline only........online is another pigs arse)
