BIOS might not be displaying because of the graphics card and display combination. Is everything matched (1680x1050) up in CCC? Can you try another display?

yes its everything matched

i dont think the display is causing the problem.. because my old video card worked fine with this same display and the integrated graphics too

In addition to this, it may appear in the BIOS as: PGI/PCI, which needs switching to PCI/PGI if I'm not mistaken? Not sure which boards this applies to.

Use the onboard jumper to reset the CMOS or remove the battery for 30 seconds...this should force a reset and make the pc stop to have the date and time set...usually for MSI you will have to hit F2 before it will boot to windows

ok, try going back to basics

-Test the vga card in another PC

-Remove the CPU [check pinouts] clear cmos [while cpu is removed]; reseat the CPU and fansink; boot with minimal hardware, one stick of RAM [seated in DIMM_1], reseat VGA card [able to boot to bios?: tapping "Del" key repeatedly] use PS2 keyboard

*If this works; add hardware back one peice at a time, check at each stage that you are able to enter bios

Note: bios [update ONLY] once all other avenues of trouble shooting are exhausted
-check mobo bios is up to date Note:*"download and execute the file in USB pen drive ONLY."*
