I have noticed there are some people "spamming" the TPU forum page with their many profile posts in one time.
Is it possible to limit profile posts by let's say, one a day?

I notice that the other day, certainly didn't hurt the most of the links were to good songs but still

Frankly I rarely scroll that far down

I always look at it if someone posted a funny video or gif or something, including myself.
If someone wants to ask someone else about whatever reason, if the "story" is getting long they should do it by PM and they shouldn't be doing that in the profile posts IMO.

Wouldn't hurt to have some clear guidelines as to what can and can't be posted in a member's profile. For now I like being a weirdo and posting my favorite songs on my profile. If told to stop then I will.

I don't mind if you post songs, it's nice to share!

It's just that some people are "spamming" the "New Profile Posts" with 5 or more profile posts in a row so that other funny videos/ songs or gifs not being seen anymore.

I guess if music/videos are posted they would have to be from official sites- Spotify, Sound Cloud, Iheartradio, Rdio, Shazam, etc

If this is a question of legality then I meant no harm posting my favorite songs that are on Youtube for all to watch. I will delete them from my profile if it's an offense.

The regs would be for hackers/spammers/phishers, not people such as yourself. I was just giving examples of legitimate sites-not a complete list though.

I'd say 3 at most for profile posts and that is it.

Limiting someone to one post a day doesnt mean that one post wont still be pointless spam.

One profile post per day may not be enough, if you have something important to share.
Perhaps a time limit of an hour between posts in there, that will give others time to have their say and not be drowned out by multiple posts.
