This looks pretty cool. It's a superhero sandbox (more or less). A lot of great ideas and seems like it would definitely be fun to play. Just hope they arent biting off more than they can chew. The idea is to allow you to create a character that you envision, with the abilities that you envision.

Im told things can really pick up in the last few days. all hope might not be lost. the alternative is they might re-do a kickstarter in a few months, and show off more content.

They need $500k to pay the developers to build the game. Possibly some towards using the UE4 engine as well.

I hope for one or the other. I'd be surprised if things kicked up though, with a low amount invested now and no promise of return. Throwing money at an unsure thing during it's "end of days" just seems like a silly concept for many people to do.

They released an Unreal Engine 4 demo showing off some of the ability design and clothing/apparel design. Some impressive detail, and shows the options you'll be able to choose from for when making a character.

Phospher has started their own fundraising. It's a change of goals, with a smaller goal to get some funding and release a character creator and then later on some singleplayer content to go with it.

Wow, looks very ambitious. They seemed to answer my primary concern here...

"The AI in the game and the world itself will be built in such a way that they will respond to any potential power the player has at their disposal in a realistic environment. Each playthrough with different characters and different powers will feel different than the last."

...that would make the AI engine itself pretty complex. My other concern is how well will the game adapt to your choices and AI reactions story wise. Either it too is going to be very complex and adaptive, or a bit vague and generic.

I have to think should they pull it off well, the modding abilities alone will far surpass most games in replay value. That said, I'm skeptical about sp depth, since it sounds like more of an afterthought than the main focus.
