Hello All,

Been planning on building a new ryzen build for a while, for now i have a
Ryzen 3 3300X
MSI MAG B550M Mortar
500GB 970 Evo plus nvme
1TB MX500 sata SSD (from current pc)
1TB HDD sata (from current pc)
GSkill DDR4 3600 2x16GB memory and a corsair hydro H60 cooler
Palit GTX 1070 Super jetstream (from curent pc)

the PSU is what im missing now,
by probably the end of next year, i would probably get a Ryzen 7 5700X/5800X and an RTX 3070 Ti/Super
I would assume that a 650W PSU is enough, or maybe 700W or 750
would also prefer semi modular to full modular

Was targeting the seasonic focus gold 750 but these things are out of stock in my area, shipping from overseas is impractical as it would double/triple the price

Right now, the models i see around here are the following:
Corsair RM650 (the non-x)
Corsair RM750 (non-x as well)
Coolermaster MWE Gold 750W V2 fully modular
Gigabyte P750GM (this one was just rereleased few months ago, but i see no reviews)

others are some mainsteam ones like seasonic S12III 650W, core gc cold and some toughpower but i only see 850W models.
Would also consider FSP i guess since my current OCZ psu is FSP oem which has been working since around 2011 i think, im still using it now

thoughts?

edit:
just saw in some forums that the focus series of seasonic seems to have issues on some graphics cards

i hear its a downgrade from the RM650x?

RM uses cheaper caps and fan, but it should be fine since both got the same warranty anyway.

Probably just down to lottery i guess specially i don't intend to abuse my PSU, i would probably mostly leave my CPU at stock clocks, assuming Ryzen 5000 series just like the 3000 series doesn't benefit much from some overclock, would most probably overclock my 3070Ti though, i wonder if it would still use the GA104 chip or the high consuming GA102 chip (and the rumours of transition to TSMC 7nm)

Its actually the same fan as the RM650x, just a in black color and without the corsair branding, Hong Hua is the one that makes Corsair blue jay fans for the RMx, they also makes most of corsair PSU fans.

Maybe you have a Focus GX 650W Seasonic available in your area? These are pretty decent PSUs.

if you really need a system soon, i guess build it but with ryzen 5k series releasing very soon.
i would wait? since the single core has been boosted alot!
but if you are adamant in getting ryzen 2 i suggest ryzen 5 3600
as for psu 650w is plenty and for brands to get.. corsair rm650x is good, seasonic are excellent too.

i have the 3300X for now, probably next year when AMD decided to release a 5700X id get that then sell the 3300X, also i already got the RM650, RMx series is nonexistent in my place and ordering online is 2-3 times their price on a backwater country like mine

I have the RM750, it hasn't missed a beat.
The none x models have the advantage of supporting modern standby, although I'm not sure how much that really matters on a desktop.

The Seasonic Focus+ is a great PSU, and is available in 650W, 750 W configurations that don't break the bank. Also, Seasonic's quality is usually not open for discussion. I'd go for an established brand with in-house PSU design rather than brands who buy their designs (Gigabyte, for instance).
