Hey

Wanted to get some more feedback on what PSU should I keep. I won the RM1000 in a corsair giveaway and I'm wondering which one should I keep ? My specs are in my sig, I think I will upgrade my GFX this year but I'm still sticking with single GFX setup.
My outlet drain is now 270Watts when I play BF4, Idle is 80-90Watts.

Obviously the RM1000 is the better power supply. However, if you are sticking with a single GPU, the TX750 will be more than enough power. So I'd sell the RM1000 and pocket the cash towards a new GPU.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Sell both, and grab a quality 600w psu. Plenty for any single card and gpu application including overclocking.

If u don't want.to do that, keep the 750

Ok, Selling that RM-1000 then. Thanks for your opinions.

PS. Dog why do you think I should get a quality 600W ? Isn't that TX a good PSU ?

I think he was saying that 1000W, and even 750W is too much power for a single-GPU setup. The Corsair TX series used to be very good back in its day, however there are now power supplies that are available at the same price of a TX which are far superior. A good quality 550W-600W power supply (such as 80+ Gold, good ripple, etc.) will be all you need for a single GPU setup, and should last numerous builds over a number of years.
