Hello, I'm looking for power supply for my new computer based on i5-750 ( moderately OC to some 3+GHz), mid range graphic card (9600/9800GT/GTS250 green), a few HDDs, soundblaster, TV tuner.... On the PSU calculators I'm getting around 400W, but since I do not change my system so frequently, i think I need a little bit more. I was thinking Corsair VX450W, or HX450 modular, I was reading that this HX was not available in the USA, so many of you guys were not interested in it, but it is also great, same power as VX450 + modular and 7 years guarantee and the very similar price! Unfortunately it's been discontinued and I can not find VX450W in my local store either, only CX400W which is fine, but I think I will need a little more power :) and VX550 also great PSU, but the price not so great (80€). What should I do/buy, CX400, VX550 or something else in that price range (80€) maybe Silverstone element 500W ?

I vote for the HX450. I wish I had chosen modular features over power capacity that I don't put to use. But the 750 has been the best deal for a while now that's why you see them on most people's rigs.

I would go with the modular. They are far nicer to deal with. I have two and will not buy anything but modular in the future.
