My suggestion

Non Modular

I couldnt really find a modular PSU with a single +12v... so I gave up.

Thats a good choice. And, u r right, there arent many modular quality single-rails out there. I can recomend the Silverstone Decathlon Series or the Andyson-built Ultra X3 that i have. For non-single rails id take a look at the new Enermax Revolution which looks like a great PSU that was praised in recent reviews.

But if the OP is not experiencing problems i dont really see a need to buy a new one. If, however, he does have money to spend and is concerned about his currect PSU degrading then he should just go ahead and buy one. If modular is not a priority i highly recomend the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W, it even comes in 3 colors these days. Its one of the best PSUs one can buy and its not as expensive as modular models. Its even certified to run 2 4870X2 cards in case you get another oone later on.
