Q6600 G0 Oc's!!!!

Just wondering what everyone has so far. Please show all your info that you can.
I have:
Q6600 G0 SLACR @ 425*8=3400 MHz
1.450V in BIOS (haven't tested with less, but I can probably useless)
1.41V in OS
Vista x64
I have my stepping written down if anyone wants it.

what are your temps like? you should be able to get 3.6

At this overkill VCore they are 5d-60C varying per core by +-3C. This is during the day with higher ambients, and I only do long period stress testing at night, in which case I get 50-55C. You can see my idle temps there.
I'm going to run another Prime for a little while with lower VCore to see how it goes while I'm gone on a little house call for tech support

I'll report back as usual.
BTW I'm getting a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme here in a few days (UPS FTL), and I'm sure the temps will be better. This is a great cooler, but it's not the best.
My only fear is that it won't fit in my case without any modding because I have the TT Armor with the 250mm side door fan....

You do know there is a multi-thread version of Prime 95 now right? This way, you only have to run one instance. You tell the app how many cores you have and thats how many threads run.

Ive uploaded it for you. One contains a 64-bit version (p64v25.4) and the 32-bit version (P95v255) Both are multithreaded.

I tested at 1.425V in BIOS, 1.384 actual after VDroop on load. Here are the temps as well.

well i was having trouble, with mine. i have been doing the same thing as you(tourture at night) doing this for about 3 days and when i go above 300fsb x9 when windows boots, there is a memory dump. what is that all about, i know heat is not an issue with the cpu

My Q6600 L724A786 is 13+ hours quadprime stable at 3.6GHz with 1.396v after vdroop, absolute max load temp for all 4 cores is 57ºC under noiseless watercooling.

Impressive.

I'm going to replace the Striker Extreme with another motherboard.. the Abit IP35 pro is a strong candidate.

How do you find it? Obviously fairly good since you have a 400+ FSB, over 1.2Ghz of overclock and still using stock voltage

Well, Im basically running my Q6600 G0 the same as you:

9x 378 = 3.4GHz
1.45v in BIOS
1.344v in Vista (idle)

Q6600 G0 24/7 OC - 400FSB x 9 = 3.6 @ 1.41V (1.425 in BIOS) NB, FSB, and all other V's at 'auto', memory at 2.15V 4-3-3-6 2T

Haven't messed to much since getting the water setup, but my Max POST is 475ish FSB x 9 = 4.2GHz :eek:

but its insane voltage... Won't boot to windows and I'm afraid to push it past 1.5V (im a wuss I know

)

Oops, lol, I forgot I put my CPU to 3.33GHz recently......I just gave you the stock voltage readings

Its actually:

9* 378 = 3400MHz
1.45v set in BIOS
1.41v (idle)

Trt has one also, he is managing to bench on air at 4.15Gig or thereabouts
