Question about phenom 2 X4 910

ok so I havent ran amd since athlon days and got this for free. im a little confused though on coretemp is say it's tjmax is 70c?? and on stock cooler it only runs 19c?? this cant b right can it?? it is at stock cuz the board I was given doesnt oc.

At stock speeds and on a stock cooler the Phenom II X4 generally runs about 40-45c with cool & quiet on. Typically at 100% load should be around 55-70c

Phenoms run VERY cool actually. Even Overclocked

My Phenom II x4 925 will idle around 70 (21.1c) degrees Fahrenheit. With a 20% overclock. If its cool in my house (60ish). I run on a stock FAN/heatsink.
My girlfriends Phenom II x3 720 idles around 60 (15.5c-No overclock 2.8ghz) degrees Fahrenheit. Using ---ARCTIC COOLING ACALP64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler.

To answer your question... the sensors are messed up or the motherboard is reading incorrectly. Dont worry about it. Just make sure the temps that are reading correctly dont go over 70c ish...

The CPU should not get that hot unless your running Hardcore benchmarks or rendering 3d media. exapmle..3dstudio max, maya, lightwave, 3dmark 11, Intel Burn-in test, etc etc...

The 910e(assuming he forgot the 'e') is a 2.6GHz 65W energy-efficient model that Legit Reviews found ran at 22c Idle.

While at idle it held steady at 22 degrees Celsius. Under full load it achieved a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius! The AMD Phenom II 940BE, on the other hand, had temps of 48 degrees Celsius at idle and 65 degrees Celsius under full load. Even while overclocked I was unable to hit those kind of temperatures. While overclocked to 3.64GHz it held the same temperature at idle of 22 degrees. It did climb to a maximum temperature of 50 degrees Celsius once a heavy load was applied.

I've got an Athlon II X4 620. Basically the same as a Phenom II X4 but with the L3 cache removed. My idle is about 40-45c. Underload it never goes above 70c. This is with a 3.5GHz OC. Heatsink is a Sonic Tower Rev 2 with 120mm Akasa attached.

I dont know its a cheap board got it for crunching. guess I'll have to get a good board and oc it. cpu-z does not read it as a 910-e
