Greetings,

I'm sure this will sound like a stupid question..but i'm getting ready to order my new system. I was going to keep my crt monitor for awhile long but noticed that on the videocard i was going to order that the connector is different then the cards I'm used to.

See the connectors...? I'm assuming that somewhere below in the retail pkg is a adapter perhaps...?

Again sorry if this seems a stuipd question just trying to get this build and ordered with little to no problems...

Thx,

You'll likely need the dvi-vga adapter. It'd be the white one that comes with your card.

Not a problem, I just got that same card a little while ago, been modding my case and haven't had it hooked up yet. It makes me salivate everytime I pick it up. One thing though, that cooler on it doesn't touch one of the memory chips at all. No one has had any real problems so far, but I found a penny fits the gap quite nicely. Older ones that are real copper and basically lapped will fit in just perfectly.

It's worth a penny so far :)

No one has had any complaints about performance on em, so I don't think it matters a whole lot. Aftermarket coolers are more for getting it quieter than cooler. These cards can run ~80c without any issues...
