I recently upgraded my system to a 3080 and I have a 2070 that I want to use to include in another PC build. I can't really build a PC right now, and I was thinking I wanted to possibly buy a prebuilt and throw the 2070 in it. Any suggestions? Really appreciate the help, or any suggestions to websites, thank you!!!!

I don't know all the brands since I build my own PCs, but I do know there's Alienware by Dell.

Google "boutique pc" and have a look at the hits that come up. Also, try to find reviews of the various vendors to find out which are the good ones.

I would stay away from crap with proprietary parts (motherboard, power supply, etc) like Alienware.

Depends on what you want to use the PC for. That said, stay away from prebuilts. Regardless of the use case, any time you buy a prebuilt, you're going to potentially be stuck with low quality, proprietary hardware (think weirdly wired power supplies, motherboards/cases with screwy mounting points, and more), and it could be difficult, if not impossible to upgrade later. The only exception I'd make to this rule of thumb is a used workstation. They're often decently powerful and cheap enough to ignore the previously listed faults, provided you don't care very much about upgrading it in the future.

Get an old office PC with an I5 or even I7 just make sure it has a PCIex16 slot. If the case is proper just keep that and make sure the PSU is at least 600 watts. If not paying $60 for a 600-650 Watt PSU will make it easier. All told it might cost you about $300.

I've purchased about 9 computers from Cyberpower over the last 10 years for work and home. Only had one dud and they promptly replaced it. The others have been perfect.

A few of my co-workers have used CyberPower PC and were pleased enough with the sales and service to order from them again. They let you choose from a decent selection of components (though I dislike RGB bling cases) and if you take advantage of the deals, the prices aren't too much more than you'd pay for the components to assemble it yourself.

However, the simplest and cheapest way to make a gaming PC is to take a scratched-and-dented or refurbished off-lease business PC and drop in a gaming graphics card. Since the OP's GeForce RTX 2080Ti uses more power than everything in a business PC combined, they'll probably need to upgrade the power supply, too.

Where do you live?

If Europe, I would say look at Alternate.

This would actually be another gaming PC for someone, I have a spare EVGA 850 GQ psu alongside the 2070 as well I forgot to mention :kookoo:.
CyberPower sounds really interesting, do you think I can purchase a PC minus the psu and gfx on there? Would it be worth it to do that rather than a pre-built on NZXT or NewEgg? I think I'd rather purchase a brand new PC to throw this into rather than an older PC.
(I really appreciate everyone's help btw, thank you!!!!)

i'd just put the card on ebay with a 1 dollar bid and wait 7 days...
there are completely mental people who pay like 800-900€ for a 2070 (used, no box, no return and no warranty)

Haha yeah maybe you're right, then just buy a new prebuilt, or u think it would be worth to buy a pc with a shitty gfx but good specs and swap it out?

if you can sell it for a big amount of cash i'd just wait a while until prices come down (just saw a prebuilt with a 10400F and a 3060 Ti for 999€)

maybe in a few months.
but for now i'd rather take the cash before the card gets worthless.
