I'll receive 3 9800GTX next week.
Each 9800's gonna take 2 6pin connectors
But I have one problem with my PSU.
It only has 2 8-pin's and 2 6-pin's
in orded to get 2 more 6 pin's ill have to use molex to 6pin adapters
So this is the question: which connector should i use for which card?
which following combanation is the best or they don't make differences?
1: 2 8-pin's go to first card (PCIE 2.0 x16 main card)
2 6-pin's go to second card (PCIE 2.0 x16 SLI)
2 molex-6-pin adatped go to third card (PCIE 1.0 x16 SLI)
2: 8 pin and 6pin go to first card (2.0 main)
8 pin and 6pin go to second (2.0)
molex's third (1.0)
3:8pin 6pin frist
8pin molex second (2.0)
6pin molex third (1.0)
4: 6pin 6pin first
8pin molex and 8 pin molex for second and third
(these 8pin connectors can convert to 6pin's)
thanks in advance!
