Benchmark Scores I don't quite know how i managed to get such a top tier PC, I am not rich.
That power cable using ethernet kinda worries me... you got anything you're willing to sacrifice to the gods of the magic blue smoke, to see what happens if someone messes up and connects that to a normal ethernet device?

That's a 300W brick, and i can imagine some serious fireworks if they missed a safety feature (I'm assuming the ethernet cable is just for the controller and not power delivery, but we've seen some tech disasters this year)

In the Industry, the RJ45 plug is being used a lot, from power supplies, Barcode scanner docking stations to weigh stations - so It is not uncommon, and as always, it is not forbidden to think for yourself.
But yeah, a RJ45 plug, with 300W on the desk, with desktop computers or TV´s with ethernet ports - I get you.

I have purchased a couple of electric height adjustable desk and one of them has an RJ45 jack. In fact the part looks the same completely. Its funny how these parts are mixed and matched on different models. The dual motor versions can typically be spread further apart as the legs are separate so the determining factor of the width of the desk is the desktop. I for one find one annoyance with these desks is the lack of real cable management incentives and guidelines. IMO, one of the best options would be to include a self adhesive cable raceway rather then adhesive ties.

I'm a fan of the Fully bring-your-own-top version, personally. You get great linear actuators in the legs, a sturdy frame, and the freedom to choose whatever top you want like a nice butcher block countertop section from Home Depot (what I did for my wife's desk). If I was going to do this again in the future, a trip to the local wood supplier for some nice walnut slabs would be in order.
