Quick Q with RAID0 setup for XP64

Well I have given up on the OCZ SSD I bought for this new i7 build. I now have 2 640gb WD black drives.

I have created a RAID0 with the 2 disks and now I am trying to load XP64 bit onto it.

PLEASE tell me there is a way to do this without having to use a floppy drive :banghead:

There must be. I am using a P6Tse mothboard with no floppy connector. The manual tells me I need to use a USB floppy drive. :cry:

anyone have any ideas, its been quite a while since I set up a raid using XP.

I was pretty pissed when doing a build for a friend that changing the sata controller to raid makes ALL of the sata connectors raid, including the optical drive. Used to be you could tell the bios which ports were to be used in raid and which ones were not. It would boot into Windows set up and then say there's no driver for the optical drive.

Weird.

Edit: What did you do with the ssd?

Make a custom Windows XP install disk using nLite, add the correct RAID drivers to it.
