I bought a case that didn't fit (fractal r5) and now I need to switch.
it will only fit if I remove the cage but I need drives.

I was thinking about Cooler Master h500p but it can hold only two 3.5 hard drives and I need more (I can compromize on this but maybe there are better solutions?)
so fractal r6 might be the best option.
I am also considering x71 thermaltake but it is huge and I don't know if it is has good thermal/airflow
I am also considering antec p110, cougar, nzxt h500, phantex p400s, but I realy don't know which will fit my board+cooler and have enough drives and have good ventilation/perfprmance.

my budget ends at R6 price range. basically I need it to fit the aorus pro z390 with kraken x62, and would like to have place for at least 3x 3.5 hard drives and some ssd's. that's why unfotunately I cant take h500p coolermaster.
thermal's are most important to me but noise too as much as possible.

Not sure what your budget is but I really like this case and it has a ton of storage options.

The view 71 has decent airflow for that type of case and good HDD and Radiator support. I did a build for a friend with the white version he likes it very much. The R6 is a well made case as well but I would probably buy the evolv x over it but that is just personal preference. Nzxt H500 is really small I did a 2600x build in it and you would have to front mount the radiator and it would be pretty tight it also has limited HDD support. I have no personal experience with the other 2 cases

I have the Evolv X waiting for a Ryzen 3000 build.

Some pics but it really needs to be seen in person to appreciate how nice it is.

the R5 is modular, you can keep some of the drive bays without removing the entire lot

The optical bays can be ditched to move the AIO higher, and the lower smaller bay can be moved closer to the PSU
and of course, top mount the AIO?

If, given what you got, I'd scratch the AIO or relocate it, $45 on an air cooler will give you lower CPU tumps and less noise. But if that's important to you, I'd echo th eEvolv X. Frankly nothing else comes close under $200 but it is $40 more than the R6, ($189-$199) depending on color, it looks like a helluva lot more. In addition tpo the "Best case under $200 moniker, it's also been said it "Belongs in an art museum".

The 600S is basically the EvolvX with some of the fancy stuff left out and sound reduction added and it's < $150

Ether will fit anything you need and then some:

Copy the above links into your url bar and eliminate the space between h and t. I didn't want to clutter the post with a bunch of big boxes.
