R7 260X Crashing games

So I recently built a computer and have been using an apu. Just about a week or two ago I bought and installed a Gigabyte R7 260x. Since I installed the gpu multiple of my games have started to crash either on startup (before title screen) or immediately after loading a saved file.

So far I've determined a few things. Firstly that the issues have come from the install of the card, everything worked flawlessly before (just wanted higher graphics output than was currently available with my apu). Secondly, I think it may be something to do with either the drivers or the DX because it only crashes games and it's crashed multiple games. I'm not getting artifacts or crashing on regular desktop, only games.

I've already disabled the onboard graphics on my computer and made sure that my primary GFX device is PCI-E. I also wiped the apu drivers with driver sweeper and reinstalled the gpu one from Gigabyte's website.

Please help, any advice is appreciated.

DXdiag gives the following for the GPU and nothing on anything else.

The file aticfx32.dll,aticfx32.dll,aticfx32.dll,atiumdag.dll,atidxx32.dll,atiumdva.cap is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.

Computer Specs
PSU: Corsair CX500
MoBo: Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4
GPU: Gigabyte R7 260X
Hybrid Drive: Seagate 1TB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16 GB (8x2) 2133 MHz
APU: A10-6800K (Cooled with a Corsair H100i)

Thank you in advance for any help provided,

Make sure your graphics card is working properly by testing in other systems, if possible.

Good luck!

I just checked and my power supply output is +3.3V@25A, +5V@20A, +12V@38A, -12V@0.8A, +5VSB@3.0A. Could it be that I need a new PSU?

are you saying you havent reinstalled the games?

what is the 'faulting module' listed when they crash? (windows error report thing)

try to reset the settings file or install a completely new game

i'm also thinking you could try certain benchmarks like unigine heaven that have dx9, dx10, dx11, & ogl rendering modes to see which ones crash

I just ran the three heaven benchmarks on default settings and 1920x1080. Dx9 marked at 720, Dx11 850, and OGL 650.

I also went through steam and tested the games that have been giving me issues. All but two have started working. The last two are ESIV: Skyrim and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.

if you could remove/reset the entire settings files of those games, maybe they'll work? a simple rename of the folder in appdata or wherever it is should do the trick
