OK i have herd that a 7970Ghz will crossfire with a R9 280x and was told at the store that a standard 7970 will just limit the R9280x.

The 7970 is no longer available so i got the 280x and Cross fired the two titan fall is chary so is multilayer on battlefield 4 single player is glitchey. The problems i am having are Crysis 3 will not run that may be due to the way it was downloaded Battlefield 4 is just weird random out of place respawning forcing me to restart the hole mission in single player yet online is pure eye candy.

I am running 3 LED TVs as monitors using HDMI

When I installed my HD5870CF, I installed a fresh driver install with ONE card, then shut down my PC, added second card (and of course the CF bridge) and since then my CF setup has ran without problems.

They truly should work since 280X is 7970GHz rebrand.
