I know it's been asked across the net and it seems like everyone has different answers. Since I'm still in an experimental phase with pcvr I could use some help. Built a computer for someone for sim racing and I was going to show him some options. I have a quest 2 and I hooked it up last night via link cable. That was the first time I've felt sick in VR since the literal first time I've tried VR. Seems like refresh rate was very low. PC was not breaking a sweat. I7-12700k , pcie 4.0 nvme, rtx 3080, 32gb dual channel 3600mhz memory. Game settings maxed out. GPU usage was around 30 percent, 10 percent cpu and a total of 10gb memory usage. I got higher usage using my 1080p monitor than in VR. Maxed settings in the game I can maintain 300fps using just a monitor and 100 percent GPU usage. Quest 2 seems stuck at 72hz regardless of having it set to 120hz in experimental. On screen fps counter that I can see on my monitor while I have the headset going says 36.

Game dev. maybe but could you elaborate on how it could be a Nvidia problem? I would say most of the issue would be with oculus with the possibility of having a game dev. with a work around. Not being smart just trying to understand.
