new world record(!again! ;) ) owned by shamino..
he did a 18304 points run on a HIS X800 Pro VIVO flashed to XT.. oced up to 773 MHz GPU and 682 MHz memory.
His Intel Pentium 4 3.4 EE / 328 x 14 / 4.592 MHz was cooled by a dual cascade... - the radeon too ;)
temps on the cpu were -93°c, on the radeon -98°c.
let's wait for Macci's (TeamAkiba) turn.. :)

Im sure some rich person with an OC'd X800 XT and all sorts of good components has gotten a higher score.

I really doubt that ;) as we are speaking of a highly overclocked X800 PRO modded to XT /w a Pentium 4 EE @ 14*328mhz etc. :) you won't find a faster system on this planet. /speaking of ibm compatible desktop puters/

Get a good AMD 64 system with socket 939 (for example the 3800+)
cool it the same way get a x800 XT PE to go with it. Also with same cooling. And then have a look at what u can score :D

Isn't the new the Geforce 6800 Ultra OC faster than the x800 XT PE

Not in Direct3d, or 3dMark for that matter :p

Yeah, this time but i still think nvidia has better overall preformance cards for that matter :D

Anyway, when dual PCI-e motherboards with OC'd 6800U SLI cards, or Alienware ALX systems with dual OC'd X800XT PE become available, the 20K marks barrier shall be shattered in no time :D

Yeah, that will be cool. To bad i don have the money for that kind of system :(
The pain, The horror LOL :D

Im shure someone with an overclocked X800 XT (not flashed to XT spec) and an AMD FX-53 or high end Opteron and like 4 gigs of DDR2 memory has gotten a higher score.

if only opteron / FX could use ddr2 and XT or flashed to XT wasn't equal...

the 20k barrier will be broken with the first SLI systems i think..
NF4, Skl 939, 2 GF6800U or GT :D - highly overclocked

just look at shaminos system... you'll not find a faster system on the planet (as zealot already said). and he "only" scored 18300 nuts ;). maybe someone of the "big players" from xs.org or akiba is able to top this score with a Skl 939 system, highly overclocked FX or A64, and a X800XT PE.
we'll see ;)

btw. nobody is using an opteron system to break scores..

Yeah right  You don't think he would be using that if he thought it would be faster? Those guy running the dual cascades are not cutting corners to get those scores.

According to "Custom PC" a UK mag, Nvidia's SLI breaks the 20k barrier, apparently scoring 20,185 on a dual 3.6 Xeon setup. Although, this is the official Nvidia word, so who knows if it's true.

24752 (with 3dMark 2001 lol) with my cpu at 2.5ghz and my x800 core/mem at, 510/580
zMy system specs are
Gecube X800Pro VIVO
Amd 3800+ socket 939
AV8 D motherboard

:D Beat that!(oced using the best tool :D Ati Tool :p)

My 3dmark03 is 12378 :'(

Yes, but so far, I have seen no tests done on Alienware's system... Man I want one of those :D

LMAO!!!!!

Dunno why we haven't seen any samples of dual X800XT PE systems, all ppl seems to be using dual 6800U, be it SLI or ALX systems  bet a dual X800XT PE system can beat the crap out of dual 6800U in 3dMark03.

Some hermit somewhere has probably crafted his own custom dual X800XT PCI-X system.

I knew no good would come from those city folk and their flying contraptions!

I would bet money that a dual XT800XT wouldent beat the dual 6800U due to the fact that they both Perform Virtually the same on some games the XT beats the 6800 U but not by much and ova games 6800U beats the XT again but not by much.

But on 3Dmark 2003 noway the XT800 will win because eva the nvidia guys or 3dmark have produced there cards to perform a lot betta than the ATI cards i think its down to the optimisations in the drivers.

but then again ATI drivers have the optimisations already enabled, which ive seen at bleedinedge site and some ovas like guru3d e,t,c

and im no nvidia fan by any means i also own a 9700pro,

i went for a 6800 cuz nvidia make betta drivers with betta support.

i get a score of 10241 in 3dmark03 pretty good for a card worth £210
