I understand this is no where near a high end gpu, but it sure isn't an Intel chipset either.

I understand the speed of your ram makes a large difference in gaming.
(10%-40% from 1600MHz to 2400MHz)

Does anyone else use this IGP as well?

The 8670D is the GPU in an A10 6800K AMD APU. Do you have a particular question?

Just wondering what other users feel about it, but the user base may not be large for this particular chip.

Well, I have a 5800K which pretty much uses the same thing (just clocked a little lower) and I really like it. I can play most games on medium settings at 1080p. I'm just using 1866mhz RAM and it seems to be working well. :)

Very nice. AMD has always given the most bang for your buck I believe. I'm planning on getting a HD 7750 to crossfire with the 8670d, perfect harmony.

I have a 6800k for my htpc. It is just as bad as any other intergrated graphics unless you pair it up with some high speed ram. APUs love high speed ram. DDR3-2133 or DDR3-2400 will make the 8670d useful.

If you are thinking about hybrid crossfire, dont bother. That stuff is broken.

richland APUs run pretty hot. if you wanna do some decent gaming, go get the nice old CPU+GPU combination. If you just want a htpc, then you may consider 6800k.
