RADEON RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC BIOS

Hey all, was wondering if I could get some help with my issue
Buddy bought a broke card off fleabay and couldnt get working so he gave to me
Card might need reflow? wanted to make sure correct bios first
issue - artifacts/crashes under any load

I am looking for the stock bios for
RADEON RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC
Unable to take photo of board, My camera will make blurry- focus issue

I have searched on techpowerup vga bios collection Not sure if im selecting correct options

If the card you have looks like the one pictured with that BIOS, would give that a try.

thank you for the prompt reply. The one in the picture is red, the one I have is white. Wasnt sure if the picture matched the link I clicked on

So the only Armor cards I find that are white are a RX 570 8GB or a 4GB RX 580, but not 8GB RX 580. That second number you gave us is likely the serial # and doesn't give any more information. I am guessing the other information on the sticker with the serial number you shared say the RADEON RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC, which is likely wrong. If you feel comfortable doing it, could take the heatsink off the card and clean off the thermal paste, and share any information on the die, might be able to help us better identify the card. Likely a mining card that was flashed with the wrong bios when the person went to sell it, or someone tried flashing the wrong BIOS to card, and then sold it after they realized they broke something.

EDIT: If you can, grab the BIOS from GPU-Z and share it here, as well as just a screen shot of GPU-Z.

I removed the thermal paste and no writing on the die
It has metal bracket going around gpu. It had writing on it.

Could be a 570 flashed to a 580?

The thing is basically a paperweight in current state, so I have no issues trying it.

As far as white armor card, I talked to my friend last night and he says he is using one right now for work/gaming. 8gb version.
I do have the box for this card, had an additional sticker might be useless/box from another card but grabbed a pic just incase

Yep, white was the original colour for the Armor OC, until Mk 2.
The pictures used are place holders and not always the correct card.
I'd suggest looking for an early Bios as it's most likely to be for the first version.

Seems an odd one, Lots of Russian topics online but I did manage to find a thread on TPU about your card with a Bios uploaded by the poster. see post #5.

Dear all, I'm searching for the original BIOS for "MSI RX580 ARMOR 8GB OC" (113-MSITV341MH.6X0), as my first backup has been deleted on linuxOS. I've already tried using original 113-MSITV341MH.653, which works on all my other cards, but not here (bought recently, SN: 602-V341-373SB1908002626)...
