Radeons - AA and AF image quality

You could have a look at the following for AA support
InjectSMAA 1.2
or
Original - Inject FXAA by some dude
nb: I understand these to be game engine dependent and may work well in one and not another; may be good for games that do not natively support AA; have a look at the www for information on game specifics

I have a HIS6870 which gives outstanding image quality: All sliders to max (at CCC)it really shows anti-aliasing working. Now why a 6970 and a 7970 shows aliasing? (to same progarms): OpenRails (dx 9 based on Xna platform; Flight simulator_X and Msts (Yes! the original Train sim, 2001 !!!, dx7 !). The NVidia inspector is not originally made by NVidia since they fear most noobs would bother them regarding the dozens of AA ans AF combinations that are possible!
I actually did not test those 2 programs you suggested, for the Nvidia Inspector you may even select LOD bias and within AA you get for ex.: "32xs combined 2x2 ss +8x ms" or "AA_mode_method_supervcaa_64x_4v12" .
Those end up being a lot heavy -thus impacting a lot on frame rates, but the image quality is fabulous! (and as you can see my games are basically simulators).

another program that allows multiple varieties of AA and AF is ATI tray tools ,ive used it for years and it has most of what nvidia inspector has and is well worth a look , that and radeonpro is also worth mentioning but try tools is better/easier and has some hardcore tweeks

Yeah its a really usefull bit of software ,has OSD features and whatnot and is based i believe on riva tuner so it works.. ive been using it since i had a 9800 allinwonder and you can enable additional options for enhaced AA and AF or optimised(for speed)
aww dont pidgeon hole me with the rest of england man, i dont even own a bowler hat and ive been all over this isle and manchester is the place to be here, its busy enough but not too busy and full of interesting(read odd) people to laugh with(read at) and its the centre of the godam world when it comes to invention, computers, mass spectrometers ,and coronation st( not in anyway indicative of real life though shameless is another story) all made possible by us

Man, it would be a pleasure to talk to Mancunians, if they are odd, I am odd too and to visit a nice place as Manchester is! Inventions is what keeps us/we all moving!!!

I found the atipdlxx.dll and either installing it in the folder OR in the windows system32 folder, I came with this:
"Access violation at address 00000000 Read of address 000000000"
I also learned the traytool is not being updated due to lack of time from the developer.
So, considering that a card such as 7970 + 12.4 drivers delivering so crappy image I will then send back to the store, as I purchased it a few days ago, funny how the 6870 offers a much better image... Hey AMD what is going on? wake up!
