RAID 1 - Gigabyte Motherboard - Please Help me!

Hi everyone, i just bought a Gigabyte motherboard "GA-945GCMX-S2"
and TWO western digital 160gb hard drives, which i want to RAID 1

The problem is that I do not know anything about raiding, not even how to start.

It's a new system with the two hard drives installed an detected, no OS, and sitting here using google to find how to access a "RAID configuration bios setting"

What keys should i press or what do i need to do?

I want to install Windows XP, i pressed F6 and detected nothing. I have motherboard's cd. I think i may need a floppy for this task, but i would love any information you can give me!

I'm 99.9% certain that motherboard doesn't have an onboard raid controller

And only raid 0 (striped) is supported at an OS level with Windows XP

i have a gigabyte ga-g31mx-s2. it has the same southbridge. mine doesnt support raid. i dont think the ga-945gcmx-s2 does either. sorry. i check gigabytes website and it doesnt say anything about it either.

if i buy an add-on card raid controller will it work with this motheboard anyway?
