raiding a 10g with a 30g?

    what happens exactly, i think i heard that it becomes 20 g for raid 0 and 10g for raid 1, but what happens to the 20 g left on the 30g one?

    A 10gig and 30gig used for Raid 0 would be 20gig total yes.....I'm pretty sure you got the Raid 1 right as well.....as far as the unused space for Raid 0...It's Unusable as far as I know.....In Raid 1 I do not know the answer to that one as I've never used Raid 1.
