RAM -- installed doesn't match the physical one

Hi,
I have installed 16 gb of ram (2 x8gb) but on the system info appears that I have installed only 8 gb.
what is the problem?

pull the ram out and blow out the slots or give them a blast with compressed air before plugging back in.

Make sure that you plug the ram into correct slots for Dual Channel configuration because sometimes if you dont have them plugged in correctly. They either wont show up or your PC wont boot.

Yep, info should be in the motherboards manual. You can download it from the manufacturers site.
