RAM issues ..0.o

okay...so this is hard to explain but i'll try

i bought a dual channel kit of PQI ddr2 800....my motherboard supports ddr2 800 ...
put the stick of ram in...slots 0 and 2 like im suppose to..boot up and hear the "NO/BAD ram post...0.o so at this point im getting alittle agitated...so i SPEED MY ASS TO COMPUSA cough::ripoff:cough but HOLY SHIT! they have a 512 dual channel of PNY ram for 39 dollars...DEALLLLLLL score yeah whatever...put the ram in...it works (ddr 667) whola! but now im pisssssed! cause i just spent 100 bucks on ddr2 800...so i was like why not put all 4 sticks in...and for some reason NOW!!! it reads 1.5 gigbytes of ram!!! running at ddr 667 ...and i know this board supports ddr 800 0.o my processor is an AM2 Athlon 3800+ x2 ...

anyone can help or am i stuck running my ram at DDR667 vs DDR800 0.o

or did PQI mess up..and well you know...try putting the timing too high and it cant read at that speed?

have you tryed putting one stick and see if it boots as 800 ?

some ddr2 800 need 2.0-2.2 volt to work correctly
and look at your ram divider in bios
