So i got a lil older computer with ddr ram. 1 gig.
i have tried 2048mb page filing on main hd and spare with no change.
am having lots of problems. being slow like ever 2 seconds a minor freeze for 1/6 of a second.

here is a belarc readout.
my video card is a 512mb
im having a hard time with this. ive tested using video games. and something as simple as warcraft 3 on the lowest settings and my computer gets hardcore glitches.
even old school starcraft that i used to play on a 800mhz cpu lol.
with all my processes running and no games sit around 250-300mb with only 20 active.

i don't think is hardware problem..but you may try with less ram or swap components if you have.

my suggestion is to try a fresh install and check the bios settings also
