whats the best voltage for my ram when overclocking, and will it make it more stable
its corsair cmx512-3200c2

could you read some numers off the ram and put them up here then we could tell you more, but yes if you are overclocking the rest of your system then upping your ram voltage will help if u give it not more then it can handle

i believe all DDR memory is safe at 2.9 volts...

I got 2 couples of TwinX1024-3200 C2 (4x512MB banks) on a DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D running @ 200MHz with 2-3-3-6 timings (command rate 2T) and 2.7V.
Lowering the bus frequency to 166MHz and the CAS to 2.5 allows command rate 1T and 2.6V but it doesn't help performance : )

with cooling all DDR1 can do 2.9 w/o cooling it drops to 2.75-2.8 depending on the ram (cooling meaning a fan blowing over the ram or HS on the ram)
