It is turned off. it actually starts by itself. And just a reminder that this is far from a demanding game.

Doesnt matter you are troubleshooting

What I meant was is that it starts itself when the black screens happen. Afterwards it is opened without me doing anything and it being closed before.

Well, the display driver is crashing. That's what that 4101 warning is (I thought as much from the description of the issue). Thing is, it's hard to tell what exactly might be doing that. I would suggest running prime95 blend for a while. This will be useful for both checking the stability of your CPU and memory, as well as serving to place some load on the system that won't touch the GPU. Depending on what happens during the test, it could give us a better idea of what the issue actually is. I would suggest running it for 8 hours, provided it doesn't crash/error before then.

I knew that already, hence pointing to link I gave earlier

Odd, set it so it doesn't start up with Windows.
Done, any other screenshots I can provide? I'll try and reproduce the problem again later today.

Starting that now, not sure I can do 8h straight but I'll see and report.

Update: The Warning occurred again with Prime95 Blender running when I hit the Windows key. Other than that, CPU at 100%, RAM at 33% and no issues.

What might be noteworthy is that this (attached) also occurs quite regularly and since it is Oculus it might just have a relation to the graphics drivers since I also experience my screens briefly going to black when launching Oculus which I assumed has something to do with starting up the Rift itself.

I'll have to stop the test now after about 3:30 h with no problems but what I mentioned above. If you suggest so I'd leave it running over night. I might add my Mainboard and CPU have been upgraded very recently.

Turn occulous off totally. If it still fails, go to a shop to determine if gpu or psu are bad..

I was playing Battlerite (with Oculus turnt off) and still experienced the same issue (causing the game window to become see through, sound was still audible and I could still "play" blindly. I started the game as DirectX9 since the game gives you that option on startup and it seems more stable now but I will report further

Ok send it in to the shop, be cheaper than buying parts that may not need replacing.

What parts do you suggest getting tested?

What parts do you suggest getting tested?

They will test them to determine what the culprit is.

So... all of it? I take it? Because I don't really have a way to transport my PC.

Take just the tower with you.
The problem is I don#t really have a way to transport my glass tower, so if there is any way to narrow down what I should take that would be helpful but I guess from what you are saying that I should take all. Even though my CPU and mainboard have been replaced in the last 3 months and the rest is max 1,5 years old.

Strip the case, put it in a box and take it there.

I did some research myself and applied one solution. So far I have not had a single issue, even though Oculus is still resetting policy schemes quite frequently. I didn't change any of my usage so I hope it is permanent but will keep you updated. What I did was change the Power Management Mode in the Nvidia Control Panel (3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings -> Global Settings) from "Optimal power" to "Prefer maximum performance".
