Since yesterday i'm having random reboot, lost of signals and one time some rtifacts on windows which also froze at boot, totally random..

What I've tried :
Reinstall drivers with DDU
Delete last windows updates
Clear CMOS
Reinstall windows..

Only thing which worked is removing the GPU completely and running on iGpu.
i'm so annoyed and angry right now

My rig : 9900k / maximus hero XI / Seasonic Prime ultra 1000W
Asus Strix 3090OC

Without the GPU, no crashes.

i've contacted the seller and they told me they might have some GPU soon I hope i won't have to wait too long since i work from home and also do graphic design (illustrator and movie edition on internal gpu won't be good)

Will test the gpu on another board today.

Could it be the pcie slot?
Since the crashes didn't occurred at load, i can rule out the psu but what about the cpu?

Also, there was nothing in event viewer

Thanks!

I'd try without the over-clock on the video card.

I mean it was on stock profile

Related to this early issue?
Doesn't look what i've experienced, my issues were not even in game but on desktop and even on bios so not at load. at least for what I saw :)

Would be weird at idle with no power load.

I've just did some r20, no crashed but I suppose the power draw from gpu would make a difference, even a load?

The gpu will be tested this morning

yeah the extra load would be too much for a fried psu , in some ways it is better if it is the psu , warranty covered im thinking , gpu would be a hassle ..maybe

Seasonic Prime series have +12V sensing issues with the 3090, causing reboots like that. This could very well be your problem.

Really? That's weird and it could happen months after i got the gpu?

Too much noise on the 12v sense wire can make the PSU trip. All Seasonic Prime based PSUs have that issue with the RTX 3090 unless you get an overkill >1000w model. Yes, it could happen any time and randomly so.

I personally don't experience this with my Prime PX-750 and RTX 3070, but the 3070 is a very different card to the 3090.

I have a 1000w already. But i don't own another psu unfortunately

Which model should I buy if Its the seasonic one which has issues?

Try an RMx 2018 PSU. Ol' reliable.

Corsair uses a few different OEMs for their lines but none of them are Seasonic that I know of so Corsair should be a safe bet.

Bye bye my cable mods cable if its the psu.. I hope its the motherboard who has pcie issue it's the easier fix.

Changing psu means ugly cable or spending again for some custom one

I would find it very weird since it happened on Idle and not even during gaming but maybe..

You could always use the same custom cables and re-terminate them with the Molex blocks from the stock Corsair cables. A bit of time consuming pain in the ass but easy to do, just need Molex pin removal tool and a pin out map for each PSU.

Meh nan i'd rather have proper cable and not tweak stuff and have even more cable management.

first i'll try another motherboard..
