    Nice work with the components you have but maybe a little out of date.

    If you are giving me a 9/10 then I would definately give you well over 10/10 for your rig. I'm not giving you the high score because you flattered me; it's just that my system pales in comparison to yours.

    damn i can't even post with that system above me :(

    9.5 on its own terms. and those are some substantial terms! its very well spec'd

    i've done a recent upgrade. a couple, really. not sure if i have posted for a rating since

    and plz take the computers name into account before judging. it knows what it is

    also the processor is not overclocked. because that knows what it is, too :p

    ^^7/10, better cpu and the rig will be a 9/10. Although I just got rid of my x2, so don't take it a bad way, x2's are still really good CPU's.

    @candle 7/10 (Rockin' It Old Skool! I like!)

    @Chicken 8.5/10 (Nice clocks on the Phenom!)

    @Psychotronn 8/10 (Nice budget gamer!)

    @Willhelm 9.75/10 (So close ... a second X2 would've put me at a 10+ in a rating.)

    @ty ger 9/10 (Nice rig. How much memory?)

    lost my job, sold off some stuff and then my AM2 board crapped out. I traded my 3850 for the P4 before i got an offer for the a939 and now i have a 939 setup that needs a pcie card. The P4 dislikes my HD, linux live boots fine but windows wont install. So this is where im at. I landed a job as a waiter but got fired the first day, dropped a plate on accident. I have 2 interviews comming up, one for a parking lot attendant and one as a warehouse worker. Im hoping to get both, parking lot is 30 hours a week the other is 40 and both pay 10 an hour and neither conflicts with the others time. So if i can get both i can gross about 2600 a month. I figure thats about 2400 after tax. With that maybe i can climb back

    A bit aged, but overall still decent. Could do with a better gfx card and perhaps a high quality sound card.

    Why? i've had over 10 of them, never had a failure and they're cheap, fast, and reliable. superfetch and the sheer amount of ram in my main system kinda makes the HDD a moot point anyway :D

    LOL fair enough, im more saying that ive seen alot of samsung HDD's run slow, but maybe not for you, and the 16MB cache? you can get 32MB caches now ;)

    Cache doesn't make any difference in normal desktop usage anyway.

    Even at that, 85% of all HDD's are the most bottlenecking part in any rig, but yet they perform just fast enough not to bog down a system.

    Increasing the cache helps to some extent but 32MB is ridiculous.
