I've had it up to 3.8 Ghz stable. the 3.5 is my 24/7 clock. Which by the way is done at stock voltage.

    9.5/10 Mussels.

I'd like to push mine higher but ambient temperature in the room my computer is in is around 85f and can hit 95f on a hot day. I'm not comfortable pushing it too much when temps are that high.

9/10 for you mordant80 real similar to my own system. Slightly higher OC, but less memory. GPU are equal if different brands

Thanks shadowfold but even I don't think my rig rates that high. there are i7s and PII 955s with 4890s 4870x2s and crossfire setups that make mine look weak.

Oh and 9/10 for you. awesome OC makes up for missing core. 10/10 when you get new CPU/MB

Would love to crossfire but only have 1 PCi-e slot and when I bought the GPU the 4870x2 was $500+

Oh I call it a "Baby Dragon" because I'm running on a AMD 770/SB 600 chipset instead of the AMD 790/SB 750 of the Dragon platform.

It's not really that loud. about the same level of noise as my GPU fan and HSF fan. my system all together has about the same noise level as a desk fan.

Oh and you still score a 9.5/10.

wait til you pass 400W load... its silent below that, but LOUD above that. (i'm talking louder than two 4870s at 100% on stock fan loud)

Actually the load problem is why I bought this new PSU. My old 500 watt one would get overloaded if I tried running OCCT in GPU mode or furmark. and simply power off. this one is nice and stable in both tests. What I get for trying to run a 4870 on a PSU with 2 16 amp 12 volt rails.

I did notice something weird though My GPU fan speed went up after I installed the corsair I've always run it at 100% which with the nspire 500 watt was 3700 rpm now with the Corsair 750 it's about 3900 rpm.

The TX750 looks like a pretty popular PSU.

BTW still 9/10 for you MailMan

    WTF?!?!

Did you even check my system specs? a 7.5?? There are dual cores with 4 year old GPU's that score higher than a 7.5. I find that insulting. My system was the best AMD system money could buy 2 months ago.

hmm you must not rate your own system very high by that standard concidering my CPU, GPU, ram, PSU, and monitor are all far superior to yours.

By your rating scale your system would be a 5/10 .. oh BTW by mine it would be a 7/10

Yeah but that included multi GPU setups. and let's face it, in the past 2 months the 4890 and 4870 1GB have been released. But when I bought my GPU the only better single slot solution was the 4870X2.
