lower then normal but its fair
6/10 for you
4770 would bring bring it up a point but I see you just bought a cooler for that 8800
lol I hardly ever see anyone rate a rig lower than 7~8. Everyone is just to nice. I know we are all enthusiasts here but not every rig can be a 9 or 10 lol.
Someone should make some kind of scale that shows how to accurately rate rigs!
thats too much work
Not bad for a budget build. I'd say 5 but you get +1 for a CRT and +1 for XP x64. :rock-out: Two of my favorite things--I don't care what pundits say (especially about CRTs).
You lose points for CRT unless it's the top end class of CRTs, because, quite frankly, the good LCDs (PVA or IPS panels) look better than the cheap CRTs.
And you need a more powerful video card to match the capabilities of the rest of your system.
9/10. 4GHZ C2Q and Tri-Fire
9/10 for "Snowball" if compared to other laptops, 7.25/10 for Mosquito .. absolutely nothing wrong with it, all current components, just all mid-range score is based on potential performance.
Edit: If that 550 has the other 2 cores unlocked add another point to mosquito.
8/10 respectable system.
Wow! Thank you
I'm thinking of getting a PII X2 550... would that be an upgrade from my x4 firstname.lastname@example.org
It gets great customer reviews at the 'EGG'... (which can always be taken with a grain of salt)... but out of 147 that bought and use it, 95% gave it an excellent rating for performance/price. I would think it would be an upgrade over your current cpu.
You will not be disappointed with a PII X2 550, and it would be a big improvement over your Phenom 9100 (bar apps that really make use of quad cores). I find mine faster (for what I do) than my old 2.93GHz Phenom 9850BE.
7/10 for nice laptop
rerate me please with the Voltmoded 8800GT @ 800/2000/1100(C/S/M)
pretty solid all around. Needs a better monitor, more storage, a sound card.
What's the voltage on your 8800?
no idea I couldn't find my DMM i just upped the voltage till i got it stable then slowly turned it down till to the point of artfacting then upped it again vary little till it stopped then about 1/8th of a turn more to be sure it is stable. i really need to find it but i don't think its too high temp maxes at GPU 68c Vregs 55c under furmark
Sounds very nice pos! 9/10 with the new battle axe and the quad!
8.7/10 hell of a clock on the e5200 at a great voltage
BTW what do you guys think good score for my setup?
7/10. Let the CRT go man. Let her go.
I just upgraded my HD to a Caviar "Black"
9.5/10 i don't see any weak point the only thing i can say bad is you don't have a quad or a i7 but the X3 is pretty damn good
someone rate me with the X2 4850e back in again. haven't benched it yet but the X4 didn't really raise my score much anyways.
ill give you a solid 8/10 man its been a long time since i saw what your last rig was and i think youve gone leaps and bounds lol....
can i get a rate? i havent seen mine for the current system i dont think.
9.6/10 nice it would be better with GTX 295s in place of the GX2s but it kicks some ass.
btw my rig have improved from last time. I think i had the 5kBE(or maybe it was the 4600+) and a 7900GS voltmodded with 1gb of ram and 1 80gb HDD also a Hyper 580w PSU hyper
BTW what mod did you do to the Physx card
